Life gets in the way of this blog so often. October found us enjoying Sukkot at Hidden Falls Ranch in Palo Dura Canyon. We were blessed to find a group that was safe to attend close to us. Danielle was able to attend school some days except the High Holy Days of the Feast. We enjoyed fellowship with the Olona Family and met others. The children were so good in these families. They were actually taught to mind and they behaved very well. It was very enjoyable.
After Sukkot my quilting machine froze up again and I had to take it to West Plains, Missouri. It was a fast trip leaving on Monday morning and I got home after lunch on Wednesday. We got word Thursday evening my brother in law had passed on. We left for Las Vegas right after school on Friday expecting the funeral to be on Monday. Nevada laws would not allow the funeral to be until Thursday so we had to stay the week there. We got home right after lunch on the 12th. I am so glad we took the trailer with us so we had our own home for the 9 day stay.
We enjoyed the Sabbath with friends this week-end and had games with the family on the 1st day of the week. So much fun! We went to the Plaza today at noon and ate with the family. We are invited to join friends tonight at the Plaza for a meal. It's been a great cloudy misty rainy day with family so far and we are looking forward to a fun night with friends.
